She crossed her arms and expelled a big breath. "It's just so amazing." 

He grinned. She found him amazing. "Good." 

She looked him straight in the eye and touched his arm. "You know I would never put you in harm's way, right?" 

He loved having her hand on him. He wanted to encourage her to stroke him, slip her fingers along his skin and all over his body... Instead, he cleared his throat. "Not intentionally, but your excitement might raise suspicions. The same thing might happen if you published anything, even something that seemed innocent and speculative." 

She studied him. "Does this mean you won't share things with me? You won't let me see... things?" 

He laughed. "You want to see my things?" 

She looked away and her blush deepened. "Don't tease me." 

"You do know I'd be naked, right?" 

Her cheeks were now a deep crimson. "Right," she whispered. "I guess you would be." 

The desire to share this part of himself with Sam surged through him. He pulled his hand from hers. Then he tugged the hem of his shirt from his pants. "Just for science, right?"
